Kisii Governor James Ongwae says he is not aware of any project launched by Jubilee government in the region despite indication that President Uhuru Kenyatta will open a host of projects on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Kenyatta I scheduled to address a rally at Nyantaro before proceeding to Nyamache where he is expected to name a host of projects completed by his government.
Surprisingly, Ongwae says he has hardly seen any project that has been initiated by Mr. Kenyatta in the last four years.
“I am told he will be here tomorrow to launch projects which I am not aware of,” said Ongwae adding that most of development projects had been executed by hi government.
He added: “Maybe we wait for him to show us the projects. He knows this is a NASA area and that is why he is keen to hoodwink Kenyans.”
However, Kisii Senator Chris Obure maintains that the region is significantly shifting to Jubilee following launching of projects in the last three years.
“The president has done well in the last few years and we believe he can do much better if given that opportunity. I believe Jubilee will carry the day,” he said.
