According to him, a politician like him takes more than 40 years to build his personality but other people are out there to destroy their names in a second on social media.

Speaking in Gusii stadium on Thursday during the launch of Kisii county edition of Kikao Kikuu organised by the Communication authority of Kenya (CAK), Ongwae urged CAK to regulate social media platform to secure and guard the people against those who have personal interests and bad manners.

“On my facebook, twitter and Instagram I do receive 10-15 abusive messages and this kind of message you can't even print because they are dirty,” said Ongwae.

“Am urging CAK to use its authority to tighten social media rules to hinder and take a serious action against those who are destroying other people's names on social media platform,” added Ongwae.
