Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has yet again dismissed the leadership of area Governor James Ongwae as 'corrupt and nepotic'.

Tong'i, a staunch Jubilee Party supporter adds that the county would undergo a masssive mess should Ongwae get re-elected.

"He is a massive failure to the Kisii people. His government is full of corrupt officials and he has spealised in promoting clanism," he said.

The first time MP added: "There is no tangible progress on the ground and this is quite disappointing. I am worried that money meant for development is diverted elsewhere."

He backed election of Jubilee's Chris Obure for governorship saying that his experience in politics would transform the county.

Ongwae, who served as Permanent Secretary in previous regimes, is a key points man for ODM leader Raila Odinga from Gusii region.
