Kisii county governor has flagged off borehole at Kisii teaching and referral hospital.
This came after allegations spreading on social media that the referral facility was facing prolonged water shortage.
Speaking on Tuesday during the launch Ongwae said that due to the increase of patients, they have increased water supply in the hospital.
Mr Ongwae said the underground tank will hold a capacity of 25000 liters.
He urged those who spread propaganda to step aside.
Mr Ongwae said Gusii water sanitation company is in the process of rationing water programme to ensure that many consumers as possible share the commodity.
