Messages of condolences are streaming in to the family of Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama following the demise of his son Ndemo Nyagarama.
Ndemo died on Monday evening at Nairobi hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Kisii County governor James Ongwae and his Deputy Joash Maangi have sent their messages of condolences to condole with the family.
"It is with a heavy heart and deep sesnse of sorrow that I have learnt of the untimely death of George Ndemo, son to the Nyamira Governor, His Excellency Hon. John Nyagarama.
"In this hour of great sorrow and grief, I take this opportunity to convey my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Governor Nyagarama, family and friends," said Maangi.
On his part, Governor Ongwae said he received the news about Ndemo's death in shock.
"I was deeply shocked to hear of the untimely passing on of George Ndemo, son of my brother the Nyamira Governor His Excellency Hon. John Nyagarama.
"On behalf of the people of Kisii County and my own behalf, I extent sincere condolences to Governor Nyagarama and the people of Nyamira county. I wish you a fortitude and comfort. My prayers are with you and your family," said Ongwae.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi also condoled with the family saying the county has lost a hero.
