Kisii governor James Ongwae has said he is going to meet his Nyamira counterpart John Nyagarama on 9th of May to share and get a solution over Keroka dispute that has been in existence for long period of time.
According to Ongwae Gusii leaders can’t remain silent without solving the issue of Keroka.
Ongwae said that he is eying for peace as it used to be before between the two counties.
“The meeting was organised for Tuesday but some of Gusii members of parliament had to attend parliament proceedings so it was postponed up to 9th of May when we are going to have a meeting which we hope will bear fruits,” said Ongwae.
The two counties have for sometime now been contesting as to who is the rightful owner of the border town something that has always bring chaos time and again but Ongwae has promised better resoluton to end the stalemate once the leaders convene on 9th May.
