Kisii County Governor James Ongwae and Kitutu Chache South Member of Parliament Richard Onyonka have promised to work together for the development of the county.
Speaking on Monday at Nyatieko Market in Kitutu Chache South constituency when he was inspecting various projects, Ongwae promised to improve service in water, health, and education sector in the constituency.
He asked other leaders to desist from dirty politics, and instead spearhead development agenda so that Kisii County can develop.
“I will ensure there is enough water in the county as one way of confronting water shortage in various households. I will also ensure Keera Dispensary in Nyatieko ward has enough personnel and machines to enable residents get better service for health challenges. This will decongest Kisii Referral hospital,” promised the governor.
On his side, are MP Richard Onyonka asked other leaders to support governor Ongwae, so that he can achieve his objectives for the county.
“I have decided to work with our governor because this is the only way I realized we can move the county forward. Therefore, I ask other leaders to support him so that he can serve Kisii residents,” he appealed.
He said his constituency is among the top performing constituencies in Kenya in utilizing the constituency development funds, and promised to support various projects in the area.
