Speaking on Tuesday at Nyagoto Secondary School in Kitutu Chache North Sub-county the governors said those criticising his leadership had nothing new to offer as he can tell from their past track records.

“I am telling my competitors to be patient because we have a special assignment to nurture devolution,” he added.

The governor added that their critics should sell agendas and not hatred to the current leadership.

He added that he have been cooperating with the Senate’s public accounts committee and he has done a lot for the county.

Ongwae also dismissed claims that Kisii county assembly lacked the capacity to oversight the county executives.

“Some of my opponents have been saying that we have failed to deliver of which is a lie since all I have done for the county can be seen even beyond Kisii County,” he added.

This comes barely after some of his critics formed ‘Omogusii Unity’ to ensure that they oust him.
