Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has said his county government is going to construct a talent academy in the next financial year 2016/17.

Speaking on Monday at Kisii cultural hall, Ongwae said all measures are in place over the construction of the talent academy to help young people move forward through their talents.

"I promise as the governor all measures are in place and the county will build a talent academy in the next financial year,” said Ongwae.

“Many people have gone far through talents and as the county we have to come in and help talented youths to grow and prosper in their lives,” he added.

Ongwae urged all counties to support youths’ talents to prosper through talents across the country.

He also urged youths to be job creators and not job seekers to help themselves since many of them have interests of depending  on being employed.
