Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has called on the opposition to unite against the Jubilee regime which he referred to as one that has failed Kenyans.
Speaking during Citizen TV's political debate on October 23, Midiwo said Jubilee's five more years in power would only lead to more misery for Kenyans.
"The Jubilee government has failed people," he said.
"Adding them another five years would be the worst mistake ever made by Kenyans as the country would be led to more misery. That is why we need all opposition parties to come together and work against a common goal which is ousting Jubilee."
Midiwo, who is a member of the ODM party also weighed in on Musalia Mudavadi's call of working with the opposition to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta from power.
He also went ahead to criticize Uhuru for admitting that he had done enough in dealing with corruption whereas the corruption cases were still pending.
"I like what Musalia Mudavadi is saying. He should work with the opposition to ensure the Jubilee government does not get a second term in the country's leadership helm. The president himself is admitting that he has no more strategies for dealing with corruption and for that case entrusting him with another five years will be catastrophic," added Midiwo.
The recent call by Mudavadi for all opposition parties to work together was viewed as his move to joining the Cord coalition for the forthcoming 2017 polls.
However, Musalia quelled the claims saying he was only looking to work with like-minded individuals who aim at ousting Jubilee from power.
