Former KTN investigative journalist Mohammed Ali (Moha) has reiterated his support for ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature for the August general election.Moha said Raila has an untainted past and has adequately been tested in leadership telling Kenyans to vote for the opposition leader in August.Raila is the National Super Alliance’s (NASA) presidential candidate and will take on President Uhuru Kenyatta during the forth coming election as he seeks to ascend to State House.“I still firmly believe Raila Odinga is the man who can change Kenya,” Moha posted on his official Facebook page.“I fully support his candidature to become the fifth president of this republic,” he added. It is the fourth time Raila is making a stub at the presidency having unsuccessfully contested in 1992, 2007 and 2013.In 2007 and 2013 he claimed he genuinely won the election but was rigged out by President Mwai Kibaki (2007) and Uhuru Kenyatta (2013).He is confident; going by the opposition’s voter arithmetic that he will win the August challenge.Moha is Raila’s close ally and it’s the ODM leader who introduced the sensational journalist to politics in late 2016.After ‘consulting widely’, Moha declared he would vie for the Nyali parliamentary seat currently held by Hezron Awiti.Moha and Raila have been seen together on several occasions including during Raila’s numerous visits to the Coast region.Despite claiming he was rigged out during ODM’s recently concluded nominations Moha says he still loves ODM and Raila. After the nominations, he announced he will contest for the Nyali MP position as an independent candidate.
