Narok North MP Moitalel ole Kenta has taken a swipe at Ukambani and Western leaders opposing National Super Alliance (NASA), saying that they are pushing for their personal agenda as the next general polls draw closer.

Ole Kenta, who spoke at Mitimbili Primary School in Narok, said that Cord leader Raila Odinga,  Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Amani National Congress (ANC) Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and Cha Chama Mashinani (CCM) leader Isaac Ruto  joined forces because they trusted each other.

“The unity the five NASA principals have shown is an indication of the trust they have for one another,” he said.

The legislator criticized National Assembly Leader Francis Nyenze and other leaders from Ukambani as well as Western Kenya opposed to NASA lineup terming them selfish.

“Those saying their communities have been shortchanged in the arrangement are pushing for their own agenda," he said.

According to Nyenze, it will not be easy to convince residents of Ukambani to vote for Raila once again after he failed to honor a Memorandum of Understanding between Wiper and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) in 2013. The politician also said that Kalonzo was the presidential flag bearer the last time he checked the lineup.
