Speaking on Wednesday evening on NTV live, Oloo, who decamped the ruling party for Cord, said that during the petition hearing at the Supreme Court, the Cord evidence was rejected on the basis of technicalities, which was a clear indication that the election was stolen.

“Recently there have been claims from the then returning officer of Tiaty Constituency giving different results, with the decision of the Supreme Court, looking at it in perspective, one would say that the victory was never fair and just, it would be said the elections were rigged,” he said.

Onyango Oloo’s move from Jubilee to Cord has attracted the rage of Jubilee leaders, who have branded him a traitor.

Speaking in Tetu, during the burial of Archbishop John Mugecha of the AIC church, the leaders said it was good riddance for the party, as they don’t need ‘moles’ within them.

Led by Ferdinand Waititu and Tetu MP, the leaders said they are happy it happened now, and will be able to move on without the once vocal defender of the ruling coalition.

“Inaonekana yeye alikua msaliti, alikua anaangalia vile tunaendelea na usiku anapeana maneno pande hiyo ingine, (It is clear he was a traitor, he would spy on us and report to the other side at night,” said Waititu.

Oloo officially decamped from the ruling coalition, saying the merger of all parties under the umbrella of Jubilee Coalition was the main reason for his departure.
