Former secretary general of the defunct The National Alliance Party (TNA) Onyango Oloo has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta did not win the 2013 election but rigged his way to power.
Speaking in Kisumu on Wednesday when he was received to ODM party by the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Oloo said Kenyatta used 'tricks' to defeat the opposition.
"It was very easy to steal votes in areas where ODM was not active. It was a matter of inflating the number of votes in Uhuru's strongholds," said Oloo. He said he felt betrayed by the government and promised to help ODM party leader Raila Odinga win the coming elections.
"I have every detail on how Uhuru took power and their plans to retain power this year. I know everything that went wrong for Raila in 2013, he would be president today," Oloo said.
The former Uhuru's point man in Nyanza region said he had carried away “files of secrets” from the President’s party that would help the opposition alliance to defeat Kenyatta in the August 8 elections.
"I am in ODM to stay. The passion I used to send Raila to the Opposition in 2013 is the same passion I will use to send Uhuru to the same opposition," said Oloo.
