Kitutu Chache south member of Parliament Richard Onyonka who was recently re elected under Ford Kenya party has now disowned his party leader Moses Wetangula.

Onyonka says he has been pushing for unity between NASA leader Raila Odinga with President Uhuru Kenyatta and there is no need for Wetangula to oppose the move.

He said he won't agree with Wetangula until he applauds Raila's move.

"I am a happy man since Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta showed rare unity and those opposing the move such as my party leader Moses Wetangula, we will disown them" said Onyonka

The MP called upon Wetangula to join the unity move so that he can remain as the Senate Minority Leader or else he will be ousted.

Onyonka, however, is known for disowning his top leaders when in need as a month a go he disowned NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing-in as the people's president and said he recognizes Uhuru Kenyatta as the duly elected President.

Wetangula has been a man under siege as ODM party has vowed to oust him from the Senate minority leader post and replace him with Siaya Senator James Orego.

Onyonka was speaking on Friday during the burial of his uncle Prof. Tumbo Oeri in Mosocho, Kitutu Chache South.
