[Photo/CGKK]Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya joined the family, relatives and friends of the late Mama Esther Nechesa Panyako, in mourning her demise on Friday. The mother to the Kenya National Union of Nurses (Knun) Secretary General Seth Panyako, died last Wednesday after collapsing at her home in Lunyu village of Malava Sub-County.Oparanya thanked Kenyan nurses for calling off their recent strike following a successful negotiation between their leaders and the Council of Governors.Mama Esther will be remembered for her immense contributions in agriculture and education sectors in Malava Sub-County.Present were Deputy Governor Prof Philip Kutima, Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda, MCAs, Kenya National Union of Nurses leadership among other mourners.
