He said no credible and fair elections can be held by the same IEBC officials who bangled the August 8 elections. He refuted claims attributed by the Deputy President William Ruto that he, had decamped from NASA to Jubilee.
"My people of Kakamega overwhelmingly re-elected me as governor of Kakamega, why should I move elsewhere? I am firmly in NASA and ODM of which I am the Deputy Party leader," Oparanya said, Wednesday. He later led hundreds of NASA supporters in a protest march to Matungu IEBC offices where they presented a memorandum together with other leaders including Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda, Lurambi MP Titus Khamala, area MP Justus Murunga among others.
