[Photo/Courtesy]Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has sent his condolence message, following the death of Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze.Confirming the death, Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua said Nyenze died on Wednesday at The Nairobi Hospital and that his remains had been moved to Lee Funeral Home."I take this opportunity to sent my condolences to the family and friends of the late M.P. for Kitui West, Hon. Francis Nyenze who died today at Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with cancer," Oparanya said on Thursday.During MPs swearing-in on August 31, the Wiper Democratic Movement MP carried an oxygen tank into the National Assembly and left shortly after taking oath of office."Hon. Nyenze was a key member of the NASA coalition who has left a mark as an astute leader in the cabinet as well as National Assembly where he served as Minority Leader during the 12th Parliament," added the governor.The 60-year-old husband and father of three was born on June 2, 1957.Nyenze was a close ally of Wiper party leader and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka. "The nation has lost a dedicated and outspoken leader. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace," added Oparanya.
