Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has stated that ODM is ready to head into the next general election in case other Cord affiliate parties dutch the Cord coalition.

Speaking during an interview with Citizen television on Wednesday, Oparanya affirmed that ODM was preparing to emerge victorious even without the help of other Cord parties.

''We are prepared for anything in case the others move out," said Oparanya.

The ODM deputy party leader also disclosed that opposition chief Raila Odinga will be on the ballot as he has not planned of endorsing any other candidate.

''When your child dies, you look for another one.That is what we are doing as the Orange Party, you don't cry over spilled milk," said Oparanya.

He has also called upon the Wiper and Ford-k leaders to stop being cry babies and faces the fact that the Cord presidential ticket is open for competition and its only the most powerful and preferred candidate should take it home.
