[Photo| @GovWOparanya]Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has expressed joy after his county was chosen to host the launch of People's Assembly ahead of Opposition leader Raila Odinga's swearing-in on January 30, 2018.The launch took place at Kakamega's Golf Club on Sunday, January 7, 2018 where political leaders drawn from Western region and Nyanza attended. Thereafter, the National Super Alliance leaders led by Raila Odinga addressed their supporters at Kakamega Bus Park where they insisted Raila will be sworn-in at the end of this month.Taking to social media, Oparanya noted that Kakamega was proud to be the first county out of the 47 to hold the event. The ODM governor added that the county will continue to resist the Jubilee regime. "During the launch of People's Assembly in Kakamega. We are proud to host the first one in the whole country. #Resist is still in place," Oparanya noted in a social media post on Monday.
