The senate Public Accounts Committee has issued a warrant of arrest for Kakamega governor Wycliffe  Oparanya.

This is after Oparanya failed to honour summons by the committee.

Oparanya was sermoned to account for Sh30 billion from the county.

On Wednesday, Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko recommended an arrest warrant to be issued for failure to appear before the committe.
