Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Deputy Party leader Wycliffe Oparanya warns that leaders opposed to appointment of Musalia Mudavadi as Luhya spokesperson will be rejected by voters.
Oparanya adds that the appointment was based on trusted researchers who observed all rules appertaining credible research.
On Wednesday, Oparanya said the community needed spokesperson to pursue its interest on the national level.
“The research was done by trusted people in the society and cannot be dismissed. They gave us the most popular person whom we unveiled to the community,” he said.
“Those leaders opposed to the appointment should be prepared for hostility from voters. They need to take a rest so that our community makes strides in the political arena,” added Oparanya.
A number of top leaders from Western region key among them Moses Wetangula have opposed the appointment of Musalia Mudavadi as spokesperson of Luhya community.
