I write to you on a matter of grave national importance. I say grave advisedly because it touches on the raw nerves of any civilised society. This letter is devoid of any mischief or ill will..You've managed to fool right-minded Kenyans that you are the best thing that ever occurred at the ministry of Education.Nothing can be further from the truth. Your elevation to head the Ministry is the worst accident that ever occurred..History will one day hang you!Your hunger for publicity and media attention has heightened your deceptive levels.Kenyans don't care about your threats to Principals and Head teachers. They are used to this kind drama from the occupants of Jogoo House. The manner in which you handle National Examinations is despicable!I seek to demonstrate to Kenyans that you are a gifted liar!.A pathological deceptionist who lies and smiles at the same time. I am not opposed to the so-called reforms in the management of National Examination. What I am opposed to is hiding under the guise of reforms to kill a generation. During the release of 2017 Examinations, you purported to have verified the results with the precision of a military commander.Dr Fred Matiang'i,A student by the name EDWIN WESONGA, Index Number 70 at St Theresa's Bumini Secondary School, died three days before the start of Kenya Certificateof Secondary Education. In outrageous defiance of logic, KNEC, while effecting your reforms awarded him grade D- in English and Grade E in Agriculture..To award marks to a candidate who did not sit an exam by reason of death is creativity that even a top SHISHA smoker cannot contemplate. The people of Khabondi have a saying that If the living hero-worship you, the dead will expose you!Why were you in a hurry to release the results that had not been verified? I am not opposed to mass failure by Kenyan students..If they failed in a fair exercise, they will retire to their villages proud they worked hard for their failure!..I refuse to believe that Kenyan parents have run out of useful products..I refuse to believe that our teachers have lost tact..I refuse to believe that our parents are no longer prayerful. Your desire to portray the current crop of students as being dead from the neck up must be met with equal force..The pre-Matiang'i students , including yourself Bwana Waziri, were benefiaries of moderated exams as well as moderated grading system..There is no fame in hiring University lecturers, (allegedly) to set Form four examination..It is only in mediocre societies that professors of Botany are called upon to set Biology exams..Your hands are stained with the academic blood of our students...You've shuttered their dreams and locked their doors for the sake of your fame and popularity. You have awarded grades to the dead and denied the living their rightful share..May the Man above call you to account one day!Yours in Sad shape,Kennedy Echesa Walubengu, Bed(Arts), LLB(Hons).
