Governor William Kabogo has launched an operation dubbed ‘help find kitata’ to search for the lost Juja MCA Samuel Gitau Munene in move to fasten the search and give room for anyone with information to share with the police.
Speaking in Thika today when he met the Kiambu county Commissioner Esther Maina, Kabogo said that he is so saddened by the loss and disappearance of the legislator who has went missing on Saturday evening.
The county boss has pledged she. 100,000 to anyone with important information about the whereabouts of the ward representative and said that he will ensure that the people responsible for the same face the necessary charges.
He directed the commissioner to ensure the police have commenced the probing on the incidence to get the people involved in the heinous incident whose motive is yet to be unveiled.
Kabogo said that the areas leaders should be guarded as they are the people’s servants and that he will not let anyone cause discomfort to the people of Kiambu County.
The angry governor has however cautioned the people responsible that on arrest they will face the full arm of the law and that they will never walk away unpunished for mistreating the people’s leaders and servants.
He has called on the family of the lawmaker and the residents to calm down as the Kiambu county police commander Mr. James Mugera leads his officers in the thorough investigations.
