[Photo: Courtesy]Thousands of supporters have thronged Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega town, for the Opposition's historic event.The National Super Alliance (Nasa) is today launching its presidential campaign, with operations in the town coming to a standstill.All the five principals- presidential candidate Raila Odinga (ODM), his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Bomet governor Isaac Ruto (CCM) and Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) are already in Kakamega, ready for the launch.Nasa leaders, senators, MPs, MCAs, governors including host governor Wycliffe Oparanya and strategists are as well in attendance.The principals earlier held a closed door meeting with Oparanya and Vihiga governor Moses Akaranga, before heading to the stadium, afternoon.Supporters from across neighbour counties started arriving as early as 7am, as final preparations were going on.The launch sets stage for the Opposition to traverse across the country, campaigning for Raila presidency, with the brigade being optimistic of beating the Jubilee Party, in the August 8 polls.
