Operations at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport resumed after a temporary closure due an emergency landing that was made by an aircraft from Somalia.

This caused the runway to be closed because the aircraft blocked a section of the runway.
Flights coming in were redirected to other airports in other parts of the country.
Passengers planning to use the airport were notified through Twitter by Kenya Airports Authority.
