There is a saying that goes; A pack of lions led by a sheep can not defeat a pack of sheep led by a lion. This shows that an army is as good as its leader.
If the leader is strong and fierce, then the army has high chances of winning a battle even if the rest of the members are weak.
This wise saying should not escape the opposition as they negotiate on forming a national super alliance (NASA) in a bid to defeat Jubilee party come 2017.
ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi is in talks with ODM leader Raila Odinga, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Chama Cha Mashinani, CCM leader Isaac Ruto and other smaller parties to craft a super alliance party.
If they manage to form NASA, then they should select a flagbearer who has higher chances of taking them to state house.
Without a lion-like flagbearer, the super alliance will be a work in futile. With only 10 months to general elections, the opposition is yet to choose a flagbearer.
