It is an undisputable fact that quacks have penetrated almost each sector in the Kenyan setting. The spate of individuals posing as professionals while they lack the necessary credentials is threatening the well being of the country as a whole.

The fact that the region has been witnessing deadly terrorist attacks is an indicator that there is something somewhere that is not working to the expectations.
The local communities should also wake up to the reality that not all visitors are a honest lot. There have been concerns from security agencies that local people hide these foreigners in their houses, thereby making it hard for security officials to identify them.
It is only through openness, sincerity and collective responsibility that the volatile North Eastern region can be restored to its tolerant state.
