When you visit Machakos County today, you will note a difference from any other county in the country.
You will notice that you are in a different government immediately you divert the Mombasa road at Makutano 'Chumvi'.
Good looking and a welcoming environment with flowers, sitting bays, free and clean toilets and to ensure your security a police patrol vehicle parked by the road side.
Now get to the county and realise the difference! The town is very welcoming you will want to spend some days there.
The People’s Park is an amazement, not forgetting the more than 100 ambulances in the county. At night, Machakos is very beautiful with flood lights everywhere.
With all said and done, Machakos County being this beautiful, the shortcomings are becoming too many to believe that all these things have happened in Machakos.
