Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s political rise has left many politicians from all over the nation talking.
Governor Joho is among leaders who have been attacking the Jubilee government for failing to keep their promises.
One of the issues Joho has used to win the hearts of many Coast residents is land.
According to Joho, President Uhuru Kenyatta has not done much as far as land issues are concerned.
Joho recently joined other leaders from the region in calling for the implemention of the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Committee (TJRC) report.
He has also opposed the Jubilee government's move to issue title deeds to Coast residents, terming it as a campaign tool.
He said despite President Kenyatta's family giving out 2,000 acres to squatters in Taita Taveta and spearheading the resolution of the Waitiki land issue, Coast residents still have nothing to smile about.
The outspoken governor has taken advantage of the land issues in the region to build his political dynasty.
Joho's recent political remarks clearly show that he is ready to do anything to smoke UhuRuto out of office come 2022.
Joho has been in the political arena for sometime but his recent appointment to lead Raila’s team has given him a good platform to air out Coast residents' grievances.
