Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua must support former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka for Ukambani to develop.
The two political heavyweights in Kamba land have constantly engaged in unnecessary blame game.
Each one of them blame the other for the misfortunes that face the Kamba community.
However, Mutua is a junior to Musyoka. The governor should guard his ego based on the development projects he has initiated and support Musyoka to liberate Kamba community.
Dr Alfred Mutua should know that despite pioneering several development projects that Musyoka failed to initiate for decades, supporting Kalonzo is the best decision for him and the community he represents.
Mutua should ask Peter Kenneth why he is supporting president Uhuru.
Does PK subscribe to Uhuru’s ideologies? The most definite answer is that Kenneth is supporting Jubilee for the sake of his community and personal political survival.
Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is the face of Ukambani nationally therefore is best suited to represent them nationally.
If Musyaka is fully supported locally then his chances of being the president are higher. This will give another local leader an easy opportunity to grace the tricky national political podium and the lucky fella might be Mutua.
Kalonzo is the master of Ukambani politics and outshining him is the most dangerous mission any politician from this region can choose.
Mutua should test the waters with a single foot before crossing the fragile bridge to communal representation.
