A section of Bonchari constituency residents have accused area MP Zebedayo Opore of achieving little in the 15 years he has been in power.
The Ford People MP is not stranger to controversy and this week, he dismissed his opponents as political amateurs.
"Opore is a lair and will lose in the next elections. There is nothing tangible he has done leave alone Bonchari . Poor roads, poor health facilities yet he claims to be our leader. Time is coming for him to learn a lesson," said Millicent Onkoba.
Walter Okioga, a resident at Suneka said the MP has failed to empower SMEs in the region, leading to high levels of unemployment.
"If we can't stop this regime of Opore from retaining power,we will continue suffering. He has done little to uplift our lives especially the small scale traders," he said.
Recently, Opore claimed that he is still the most popular candidate in the constituency and challenged his opponents to study the topography of the region before facing him in the contest.
