Immediate former Bonchari legislator Zebedeo Opore has announced that he will formally file a petition at Kisii High Court challenging the election of Oroo Ayieko as his successor.
Addressing the press Suneka primary grounds on Wednesday, Opore said that the election was not free and fair and he has all the evidence that is required.
“The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) erred in declaring my opponent the winner yet am sure I had beaten him by over 1000 votes and the only solution remaining is our meeting in court,” he added.
He alleged there was fraudulent tabulation and tallying of figures by the Constituency Returning Officer from various polling stations.
