Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has warned that any politician in the Jubilee Coalition’s strong holds, who will try to go against the Jubilee Alliance Party ahead of 2017, will be digging his own political grave.
Speaking on Sunday during a fundraiser at the Nakuru suburb PEFA church, Ngunjiri said that all politician in president’s and his deputy’s strongholds must sing the JAP song whether they like it or not.
He said that any politician who cares for his political career can never dare go against the JAP grain.
“The president and his deputy have made it very clear that the song to be sung from now until 2017 is the JAP song, and if there are those who think they will sing any other song apart from JAP, then we want to tell them that they are digging their political grave,” said Ngunjiri.
“It is either you are with JAP or you are against it. If the president and his deputy have agreed on this who are we to oppose it? You cannot go against the command of your leader,” added Ngunjiri.
His sentiments were echoed by senate majority leader Kithure Kindiki, who said that anybody who wants to see parliament or senate in 2017 must ride in the JAP bus.
“I pity those who think they will compete against JAP because doing so will be exercise in futility. For anyone to remain relevant in the political scene they must sing the JAP chorus,” said Kindiki.
