Kisii senator Chris Obure has yet again dismissed opposition team as a bunch of 'cry babies' adding that the Gusii community made a wrong decision to vote for in in 2013.
Obure further argues that the team would lose in this year's elections due to disorganization exhibited in its leaders.
Speaking at Gianchere on Sunday, the former Kisii ODM chairman urged locals to register as voters and vote President Uhuru Kenyatta to complete his second term.
"These people from opposition have nothing new to offer to us. They keep on dragging the government all times with no substantive alternatives in whatever allegations to raise. We made a bid mistake in voting them," he said.
He added: "It is not too late though. Kindly register as voters in numbers and help President Uhuru Kenyatta in his bid for second term. He has shown his willingness to help this community."
Till his defection, Obure was a close ally of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and was rewarded with Public Service ministry during the grand coalition government.
