Kenya’s main opposition leaders led by Raila Odinga have been accused of misleading the Kenyan youths instead of guiding them on how to handle situations when in crisis.
In an interview, today with Bishop Kennedy Moracha of Kisii Pentecostal church of Africa, in the past few days that Cord led demonstration a lot have been lost and more youths have been injured a move which he condemned.
“We have many ways in which the opposition can engage the government apart from the daily Monday protests that are being witnessed in the country,” he added.
The Bishop also called upon the youth to remain focused instead of being misled by the political class who he said their children live better lives and do not hold demonstrations on the streets.
“The presidents should talk on the matter, for instance, we saw many youths injured yesterday and that is wrong for the youths are the face of the country tomorrow," he added.
This comes barely a day after the opposition-led demonstration in various parts of the country and most youths got injured in the demonstrations.
Cord is calling for the disbandment of IEBC over claims that their commissioners are not fit for office to carry out the general election in 2017.
