This comes at a time when police officers have been put on the spot for ignoring court orders.

"The opposition which is busy lecturing us on matters respecting court orders illegally held a controversial swearing in ceremony that saw its leader sworn in as 'the peoples' President," said the CS.

He wondered why Mr Odinga Doings and other opposition leaders were lecturing Kenyans on the law that they usually break.

He also retaliated a foreign statement by foreign envoys that Mr Odinga respects President Uhuru Kenyans who legimately won elections on October 26, 2017.

In the recent past, opposition leaders have been hitting on the Government for failing to honour court orders.

Last week, Chief Justice David Maraga issued a tough warning to all who were ignoring court orders saying that the law would catch up on them.

It is after the statement by the CJ that saw Citizen TV reopened after weeks of closure.

The orders to close it were issued by Security CS Fred Matiang'i.
