A section of Western Kenya leaders who ditched the Opposition coalition NASA for Jubilee Party have dismissed Raila Odinga's assertions that they have no votes.
Earlier on Sunday, the Opposition chief rubbished the defections, noting that those who had ditched NASA had no votes for Uhuru.
However, in a quick rejoinder, the defectors have vowed to lock out NASA in Western Kenya during the upcoming October 26 repeat presidential elections.
The leaders include former MPs Paul Otuoma (Funyula), Ababu Namwamba (Budalang'i), Alfred Khang'ati (Kanduyi) and Yusuf Chanzu (Vihiga).
On his part, Otuoma, who lost his Busia gubernatorial bid to the incumbent Sospeter Ojaamong said he was determined to deliver over 100,000 votes for Uhuru.
“I want to tell Raila that the minimum votes we will deliver to Uhuru is double what he (Uhuru) got in August,” said Otuoma.
“If we will not manage that, then Raila should come for a bull,” he added.
Khang'ati accused Raila of betraying him, saying: “I was at the forefront in Raila’s campaigns but he took my support for granted and instead frustrated me. I am going to be at the forefront again to ensure he loses votes in the county."
