A united opposition is set to announce their presidential candidate next month.
The parties are set to meet on Wednesday at the Bomas of Kenya to initiate talks on the best way of appointing the leader.
“I can confirm there are plans to unveil the presidential candidate by February,” said ODM director of elections Junet Mohamed.
According to the Star, more than 15,000 party representatives are set to participate the meeting to charter the way for a National Super Alliance (NASA).
However, Kanu is likely to skip the event.
Among other issues that will be discussed is the opposition’s next course of action after President Uhuru Kenyatta assented to the controversial election laws spearheaded by Jubilee leaders in both Houses.
