The opposition leaders have been called upon to embrace development politics and embrace peace as the country heads towards the general election.
Speaking in Kisii town today when he visited the area President Uhuru Kenyatta said that his government is always ready to work with the opposition towards improving the livelihoods of Kenyans as a whole.
“We all have the responsibility to build Kenya because we all live in it and it won’t be built with all of us throwing words anyhow, but we can build the nation if we all hold hands and ensure we condone each other,” he said.
The president slammed the opposition leader Raila Odinga for misleading the country and said his government is ensuring they have a regional balance.
“We will have time for politics as of now we are now looking into developing our nation and I call my brother Raila Odinga to work with us and ensure we create more jobs,” he added.
President Uhuru promised to spearhead more development project in the area as its one of the region that has a promising future.
