Even after making a promise to resolve emerging issues ahead of dialogue, the Cord has made no progress concerning the IEBC stalemate.
Nonetheless, Cord leaders say they will carry on with demonstrations. This time, twice per week and if nothing is done, they will increase the demonstration days.
At the same time, Narc Kenya party leader, Martha Karua said that talks to resolve the IEBC stalemate should be held outside parliament. She also stated that other stakeholders should be included in the talks besides Jubilee and Cord.
The calls by Karua could further derail the talks given that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his party, Jubilee have always insisted that any dialogue for and about jubilee should be conducted within the precinct of parliament as prescribed in the constitution.
