Kilifi Governor Amason Jeffa Kingi has said that the opposition block is determined to stick together so as to face the forthcoming August polls as a block and dethrone the ruling Jubilee Party.
Speaking in an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday, Kingi further said that there is nothing that can stop the opposition from realizing its goal this time round.
''The opposition is like River Nile which always reaches its destination,we cannot be deterred by anything and we are going to stay together until the elections and even after," he said.
He further stated that the leaders have been brought together by their passion for the nation and will not rest until they liberate it from what he called the destructive hands of the Jubilee government.
''As opposition leaders, we have observed that the Jubilee government is milking the country dry,'' said Kingi. He rubbished claims made by Jubilee leaders that the opposition does not have a beneficial agenda for the nation.
''The current government is the one with no agenda for Kenyans, they are only interested in misusing public funds and that is the reason why the nation is facing many scandals and unending strikes. The opposition will bring total change,'' said the county boss.
