Telkom Kenya has announced that the company has unveiled a new Volume-based data offer that will allow Orange subscribers and customers to browse at a rate of 9 cents per mega bite.

The company's chief corporate communications officer George Mlaghui expressed his company's willingness to ensure customers get value for their money through the product.

“Telkom Kenya seeks to provide value to our customers through our service and offerings," Mlaghui is quoted by the Star.

Apart from the data prize,the subscribers will also enjoy 24 and 48-hour data expiry notifications.

This comes at a time when the Communication Authority of Kenya has outlined that data subscription has increased with 900,000 over a year. (23.9m in the first quarter of the 2015 financial year to 24.8m this year)

The company will, therefore, be seeking to attract the customers of the other service providers who are not satisfied with their current rates.
