Speaking during a talk show on Citizen TV Wednesday night, Boinett said that contrary to beliefs that politicians were at the forefront in inciting Kenyans, the local men and women were the main conveyors of hate messages through various platforms but mostly on social media.The IG was categorical that the political class had learned their lessons through a number of their peers who continue to find themselves on the receiving end of the law on matters hate speech."We don't have a very big challenge with the political class.They have learnt their lesson.In fact it is the local mwananchi who is giving us harder this times," he told JKL LiveBoinett, however, warned those who are using social media platforms to propagate hatred saying their days were numbered."Do not think there is safety in anonymity any more. We will soon catch up with you," he said.
