Siaya Senator James Orengo has dismissed claims by blogger Robert Alai that he may have incited Coastal ODM MPs to oppose NASA's parliamentary leadership positions.
Last week, opposition leader Raila Odinga and his co-principals Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi convened an urgent meeting to avert a possible fallout within the coalition.
And in his popular blog, Kahawatungu, Alai claimed that Orengo had stage managed the rebellion to his benefit.
"This is the work of fifth columnist whose menu is toxic intrigues blended with reactionary primitive politics," he wrote on his Twitter.
Orengo, a close confidant of Odinga further said: "I have no time for pettiness not do I have an insatiable appetite for greed for office or personal gain."
At the senate, Orengo has been picked to deputize Moses Wetangula as the Deputy Minority Leader.
Despite the discomfort by ODM MPs from Coast, Odinga has managed to give in to some of their demands including appointing Abdulswamad Nassir as Vice Chair to Public Investment Committee,
