[Photo/Nation]Siaya senator and senior counsel James Orengo was on Monday barred from entering the CID headquarters in Nairobi where Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino was being held for questioning after being arrested.Owino was arrested for allegedly insulting president Uhuru Kenyatta and his mother Mama Ngina Kenyatta during a National Super Alliance (Nasa) rally in Nairobi on Sunday.Orengo alongside other opposition leaders were denied a chance to see or even talk to the vocal ODM legislator at the CID headquarters.Expressing his disappointment, the ODM senator further revealed that he was locked out at Pangani police station where the first time MP was taken to spend the night."I have been locked out of CID hq & police station Pangani and Babu thrown into cells without right to counsel of choice.Dark days are here," wrote Orengo on his twitter handle, Monday.The former Sonu president has however maintained he did not insult anyone and that he won't offer any apologies.
