The embattled Garissa Town MP is under probe by National Cohesion and Integration Commission over an audio in which he allegedly called for eviction of Kamba community from his backyard.

And the senior counsel on Sunday said the remarks could degenerate to national hatred that could lead to bloodshed across the country.

“It is shocking that a leader of that caliber can call for eviction of a certain community from a territory in the country. That amounts to violation of the very constitution we are defending,” he said.

Orengo added: “It so stupid of him to incite Kenyans. He is staying in Nairobi, which belongs to Maasai yet he wants innocent Kamba’s to be thrown out of Garissa.”

Even though Duale has maintained his innocent, Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim on Sunday claimed that at least two people of Kamba origin had been attacked days after the clip was released on social media.
