Senator James Orengo emerged from his 'sabbatical' after the hard-fought Supreme Court ruling that saw him marshall NASA lawyers to success in the case and flaunted his newly acquired Airtel line for all to see after disposing of his Safaricom line.
In a move that is seen as a clear testimony of NASA seriousness to boycott products and services of companies they deem hostile to their cause, Senator Orengo showed all and sundry the sh1,000 Airtel airtime he had bought to make his newly acquired line operational.
The Senator had also put on NRM's popular Resist cap which has become a new trademark for the movement.
NASA has called for the boycott of Safaricom, BIDCO and Brookside products in a move aimed at pushing the Uhuru regime to the negotiating table.
A number of leaders have, however, come out to fault the NASA move noting that a good number of workers in these companies come from Western and Nyanza.
Former Budalangi legislator Ababu Namwamba and CS Eugene Wamalwa led a section of leaders from Western Kenya in faulting the NRM move.
