Siaya senator and senate Minority Leader James Orengo has said the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has worked 'miracles'.
Speaking in Nakuru during the senate staff and leadership workshop, Orengo said the handshake has since improved working relationships within the senate because it brought 'new and fresh oxygen'.
He said that senators are now working together for the good of Kenyans as opposed to before when they used to take political party lines.
He said unity ad negotiations between Jubilee and NASA senators within the senate has made work easy.
He however called for a logical conclusion of the talks between Uhuru and Raila.
