With his decision to administer an 'illegal' oath to NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People's President still haunting him, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang had another session in Court on Wednesday to attend the hearing of his case. And as always, Siaya Senator James Orengo who boasts an impressive CV as one of the best lawyers in the country represented him.
Orengo was joined by other lawyers including Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma and Kisumu Senator Fred Outa in the Magistrate's Court in Ngong.
"CJ" Kajwang who alongside lawyer Miguna Miguna administered the January 30 oath is charged with administering an illegal oath and engaging in an unlawful assembly which was not approved by the police.
However, in his defence, the Ruaraka MP's lawyers said that the lawmaker never committed any offence that can stand in a court of law.
The case which has been hanging on Kajwang's head since he was arrested in early February before being released, is set to resume on June 6.
His "partner in crime", Dr. Miguna Miguna was exiled and his attempts to return back to the country have been unsuccessful.
